Registered Care Home Manager

£36,466 per annum (40 Hrs per Week)

This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to commission a brand new, purpose built residential   Care Home for older people in Halesowen, West Midlands.

You will recruit and develop a brand new staff team to ensure that high quality care is being provided from the outset. 

You must be a confident and assertive  Registered Care Home Manager with current and relevant experience and business acumen. Initially you will recruit new staff, implement policy and procedure and welcome new residents. You must then ensure that the Home is well managed and responsibilities will include auditing, risk assessments, safeguarding, staff supervision and guidance, training, medication management, care planning, occupancy levels and, underlying all of this, always ensuring high quality care is being provided. You will build good relationships with local healthcare professionals and establishing a highly visible presence in the local community.

You must have an excellent understanding of the CQC standards and have the skills to ensure that standards are high from the outset and   work with the team to ensure these are maintained. As the Registered Care Home Manager you will be pivotal to the well-being and advancement of the home and its team  there strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar setting, with specific understanding of dementia and the latest dementia practices. You must have your RMA or equivalent and other relevant qualifications to support your application.
