Advice on care business management matters and signposting to agencies and members who could possibly assist. |
Financial benefits Members can obtain substantial discounts from prime care sector suppliers. These include Citation, CHIS, JLA, Fireco, and Aid Call. Preferential rates also apply for some legal banking and energy sourcing services. |

Legal Helpline In conjunction with care sector lawyers Harrison Clark, the Association runs a free legal helpline. |
Liaison and lobbying The Association is in regular information exchanges with Social Services, MPs, CQC and training agencies. |

Rates negotiation and representation The Association Directors act as advocates and negotiators in discussing fair and equitable rates for services provided to local authorities. All final agreements are subject to membership approval. |
DBS Disclosure (previously CRB) Operating as a members' only umbrella group for disclosures, the association ensures efficient processing at the lowest industry rates. Enhanced disclosures are currently £49, plus £8 for a DBS Adult First. Non-member charges: £73 each, plus £20 for a DBS Adult First. |
